Gatlinburg Tennessee is a major gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Park's abundance and variety of plant and animal life have earned it a United Nations designation of International Biosphere Reserve. The Park has more than 10 million visitors ever year making it the most visited national park in the United States. It is so big unlike other parks you don't need to worry about traffic jams or other over crowding problems. There are over 800 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails in the park with numerous waterfalls and great views.

In the winter, mid November through March, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville light up this part of Tennessee with a county-wide Winterfest Festival. Winterfest features millions of lights displayed throughout the county. And don't miss the Gatlinburg Christmas Parade held each year the first part of December.

The Village Shops are next to the Pancake Gallery on Gatlinburg's Parkway.

In the Springtime be sure to come hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains during the Wildflower Pilgrimage, usually at the end of April. In the summer time, from mid June through Labor Day, the fun never stops - hiking, swimming, rafting, shows, shopping, Dollywood. Gatlinburg Tennessee has the first 4th of July Parade in the nation. It begins at midnight on the 3rd - great fun while you beat the heat! And we have a new tradition in Gatlinburg Tennessee - 2004 was the first year for our Annual July 4th Fireworks.
